Executive Security Awareness Trainer
Praetorian is hiring trainers to deliver security awareness programs for corporate executives, HNW families, and organizational staff across Florida.
Praetorian Executive Protection LLC is hiring executive security awareness trainers to deliver programs for corporate executives, HNW families, and organizational staff. Training covers situational awareness, active threat response, social media OPSEC, travel security protocols, and personal protection fundamentals. Trainers must combine real operational experience with the ability to teach non-security audiences in a professional, accessible format.
Protection does not stop with the operator. The principal, their family, and their staff are part of the security posture.
When they understand situational awareness, know what to do in an active threat, and manage their digital footprint, the entire protection program gets stronger. Praetorian delivers security awareness training to executives, families, and corporate teams, and we need trainers who can translate real operational knowledge into programs that non-security audiences actually absorb and apply.
Situational Awareness
Teaching executives and families how to read environments, recognize pre-incident indicators, and make decisions that reduce their exposure to risk.
Active Threat Response
Practical, scenario-based training for active threat situations. Evacuation, lockdown, and decision-making frameworks tailored to the client's environment.
Social Media OPSEC
Training principals and staff on digital exposure risks, social media privacy, location sharing, and the connection between online behavior and physical security.
Travel Security Protocols
Pre-travel briefings, hotel security fundamentals, ground transportation awareness, and personal security habits for executives who travel frequently.
What Security Awareness Training Looks Like
A training engagement might involve a half-day workshop for a corporate executive team, a private session with a HNW family at their residence, or a multi-session program for an organization's staff. The content is built around practical scenarios, not PowerPoint lectures.
Christopher Smith built training programs as a Primary Instructor at Blackside Tactical and developed curriculum that translated operational experience into teachable frameworks. Praetorian's training programs follow the same approach: real knowledge, delivered in a way people remember and use.
Who We Hire as Trainers
Operators with prior training or instruction experience: military instructors, law enforcement academy trainers, corporate security training professionals, or EP practitioners who have delivered client-facing awareness programs. The ability to teach is not the same as the ability to operate.
We need people who can do both. Florida K license (firearms instructor) holders are preferred for programs that include firearms awareness components.
Why Training Is Part of Protection
A principal who can recognize a pre-incident indicator is safer than one who cannot, regardless of how many operators surround them. A family that knows the emergency plan does not panic when it needs to execute.
An executive who manages their social media exposure reduces the threat surface the protection team has to cover. Training multiplies the effectiveness of every other service Praetorian provides, and trainers are a critical part of the operation.

Questions About This Role
What topics does Praetorian's training cover?
Situational awareness, active threat response, social media OPSEC, travel security, personal protection fundamentals, and customized topics based on the client's risk profile and environment.
Do I need a Florida K license to train?
The K license is preferred for engagements that include firearms awareness or defensive shooting components. Training programs focused on awareness, OPSEC, and non-firearms topics do not require it.
What format are the training programs?
Half-day workshops, private sessions, and multi-session programs depending on the client. Content is scenario-based and practical, not lecture-based. Programs are tailored to the audience, whether that is a corporate executive team or a HNW family.
Does Praetorian provide training curriculum?
Yes. Praetorian has established training frameworks that trainers adapt to each engagement. Experienced trainers also contribute to curriculum development based on their operational background.
