Praetorian Executive Protection LLC is recruiting clandestine operations specialists for low-visibility protection assignments, surveillance detection routes, and counter-surveillance operations. These are the most discreet roles in executive protection, requiring operators who can protect a principal without the principal or anyone else knowing protection is in place. Prior military intelligence, special operations, or federal LE surveillance experience is strongly preferred.
Clandestine operations represent the most advanced discipline in executive protection. The principal may not want visible security.
The threat environment may require that protection is invisible. The assignment may demand surveillance detection, counter-surveillance, or covert movement support.
These are not roles for operators who want to be seen. This is the space between visibility and invisibility, and Praetorian operates there by design.
Low-Visibility Protection
Protecting a principal without visible security presence. Blending into environments, maintaining proximity without detection, and intervening only when necessary.
Surveillance Detection
Running SDRs, identifying hostile surveillance, pattern analysis, and reporting to the security team. Critical for principals with elevated threat profiles.
Counter-Surveillance
Active measures to identify, document, and neutralize surveillance operations targeting the principal or their family. Requires advanced tradecraft.
Covert Movement Support
Planning and executing movement plans that obscure the principal's patterns, locations, and associations from potential adversaries.
What Clandestine Operations Look Like
A clandestine detail might involve operating in plain clothes at a distance from the principal, running surveillance detection routes before and after principal movements, monitoring for hostile reconnaissance at the principal's residence or workplace, or providing covert protection during travel. The work requires patience, observational skills, and the discipline to maintain cover for extended periods.

Who We Hire for Clandestine Roles
These are the most selective positions at Praetorian. We prioritize operators with military intelligence or special operations backgrounds, federal law enforcement surveillance experience, or prior clandestine protection work.
Former CIA, DIA, FBI, DEA, or USMS backgrounds with relevant operational experience are ideal. State and local LE officers with narcotics, gang, or organized crime surveillance experience also qualify.
The common requirement is proven ability to operate covertly.
Operational Security Standards
Clandestine operations demand the highest OPSEC standards. Operators in these roles sign enhanced NDAs, operate under strict communication protocols, and maintain absolute confidentiality about assignments, clients, and methods.
Social media presence must be minimal and sanitized. If you cannot operate in the shadows, these roles are not for you.

Are clandestine roles scheduled shift-based or recurring?
Both. Some assignments are single engagements tied to a specific threat window. Others are ongoing surveillance detection programs for principals with persistent threat profiles. Proven operators get priority for recurring work.
This position is a W-2 employment role with Praetorian Executive Protection LLC. The role is subject to standard payroll withholdings and company-provided insurance coverage. This classification is required under Fla. Stat. § 493.6301(4), which provides that a Class D licensee shall own or be an employee of a Class B security agency.
- Active Florida Class D license, and Class G for armed assignments, or willingness to obtain
- Standard payroll withholdings (federal income tax, FICA, Medicare)
- Company-provided workers' compensation and general liability coverage during assigned duties
- Duty equipment and required credentials issued or authorized by the agency
- I-9 verification, background check, and FDACS fingerprinting as required by Chapter 493
- Reported to the Florida State Directory of New Hires within 20 days of hire
